The Understatement first began playing in 2007. Since then they have played many shows and refined their blend of heavy guitar riffs, epic soaring vocals & harmonies to create a unique blend of melodic alternate rock.

Releasing their debut EP titled “So Blind” in 2008, the boys have been playing every show they possibly can (including Blackstump, Easterfest & Big Exo Day), making new friends & fans along the way with their energetic live show.

In 2010, the band has just completed recording their second EP and are hoping to release it by mid-year.
